Easily Create Icons with Multi Icon
Multi Icon is a user-friendly tool designed for creating high-quality multi-resolution icons (.ico) and "mainicon" resources (.res) with a resolution of 256 x 256 pixels. This tool provides a dependable and effective approach for designing visually appealing icons suitable for various applications and platforms.
High-Quality Icons
Multi Icon is specifically designed for creating high-quality multi-resolution icons (.ico) and "mainicon" resources (.res). It offers users a straightforward way to generate icons by allowing them to open image files, paste images with transparency, or utilize drag-and-drop functionality. The software efficiently creates a multi-resolution icon that includes a primary image sized at 256 x 256 pixels in PNG format, along with five additional image sizes of 64 x 64, 48 x 48, 32 x 32, 24 x 24, and 16 x 16 pixels. All images are saved in native Windows icon format, ensuring compatibility with various Windows systems.
Simple and Manageable Interface
Multi Icon features a streamlined interface designed for simplicity, ensuring that users can easily navigate without encountering complicated menus or unnecessary steps. To begin using the application, you can easily drag and drop an image onto the user interface, at which point it will appear in the preview area located in the center. On the left side of the interface, you will find options that allow you to select the shape of the icon, as well as tools to flip, mirror, or rotate the image to various angles.
Master Image, Options, and Resolutions
Multi-Icon enables you to use a single master image for all resolutions or customize each image individually for precise control over appearance. It supports 32-bit images with 8-bit alpha masks, along with built-in common mask shapes that facilitate the transformation of a basic square image into an alpha-transparent shape with just one click. You can also conveniently save your creations in multi-resolution icons using the standard Windows icon format (.ico) or as a Windows resource (.res) in the "mainicon" format. This functionality streamlines the process of incorporating the icon directly into applications.
