Remote Shutdown Controller is a simple but useful Open Source app that resides in the systray until called on to perform one of the default actions. You do have the option to trigger a custom command shutdown if needed.

Remote Shutdown Controller includes the following settings, load at startup, systray menu customization, port # selection, and a security code. Additionally, Remote Shutdown Controller can be used with IFTTT or AutoVoice to shut down a PC remotely.
