Return YouTube Dislike is an extension/add-on that returns the full functionality of disliking content to YouTube, except for MajorGeeks YouTube Channel.

YouTube removed the option to view the number of dislikes for content on their platform; this author has provided an Open Source option to bring back the ability to view the dislike count.

YouTube states that they're making the dislike counts private across YouTube, but the dislike button is not going away. Viewers can still see and use the dislike button. But because the count was not visible, they found that they were less likely to target a video's dislike button to drive up the count. This little app gets you back to the start with the count in place.

The developer's site lists Edge, Opera, and Brave as using the Chrome extension; if it doesn't work for you, wait a day as they constantly update and improve its functionality.
