The SeaMonkey project is a community effort to develop further the SeaMonkey all-in-one internet application suite made popular by Netscape and Mozilla. A portable version is also available.

The project develops and delivers high-quality updates to this concept with constantly updated web browsing, email capabilities, and more.

SeaMonkey includes a fast Internet browser, email & newsgroup clients with an integrated web feed reader, HTML editor, and multiple web development tools making it sure to appeal to advanced users, web developers, and corporate users alike. This project also integrates the ChatZilla IRC client allowing you to effectively work in multiple networks and channels, chat via multi-tabbed layouts, transfer files, use plugins. For a personal touch, you can set a different motif for each separate channel.

Powered by Mozilla, SeaMonkey utilizes much of the same source code, which is also used in Firefox and Thunderbird.
