Simple Search for Chrome and Firefox overlays Google search results the way Google used to.

Remember the "old" days when you typed something in and *gasp* you got the search results you wanted? Thanks to Simple Search, you can have the classic search back!

Simple Search needs no user intervention. Install the extension of addon and load Google like you always have.

When you search, you will see an overlay of the classic search results. If you're not happy with the search results, you can close the Simple Search results. If you change your mind, refresh your results.

We were skeptical, but Simple Search works, and we love it. We doubt Google would be happy, so we hope that this one continues to work in the future.
