TorkilsMicMuter permits toggling and shortcut key microphone mute control along with visual cues.
A handy option for controlling your mic's mute function; great utility for preventing embarrassing hot-mic situations when doing live podcasts. You can create shortcuts or use TorkilsMicMuter directly from the systray. It provides you with configurable - on-screen signaling of the current mute state. You can even access the sound control panel directly from the app.
The microphone is muted within Windows, and muting thus works independently of the conferencing application used (Microsoft Teams, Webex, Zoom, Google Meet, etc.). Simple to set up and use, it will be a valuable asset for any user that utilizes their microphone often.
