XsX - Alpha Blended with Shadows is a classic app to change your mouse cursors to a more colorful, bolder look with or without shadows.

After installation, you can automatically set XsX - Alpha Blended with Shadows as your default mouse scheme.

The best way to make changes is to open Mouse Properties in the Control Panel and click on the Pointers tab. Windows 10 users can type control panel in search or go to Start > Settings > Devices > Mouse > Additional mouse options.
