VaultPasswordView can be implemented for recovering Windows Vault passwords and other data from within the Windows Vault.
This utility will easily assist in retrieving Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer password data. It can be used to recover data located in the system's Vault and on an external drive if needed. It is also capable of working on Windows XP with SP3 for decrypting the Windows Vault of an external drive with Windows 7-10.
For quick reference, Windows vault files are stored in the following folders:
C:\Users\[User Profile]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Vault
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Vault
C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Vault
VaultPasswordView will display all the data within the signature NirSoft table, providing you with the Item Name, Item User, last modification date and time, the size of the decrypted data, the file name, and more. All displayed items can be exported to CSV, TXT, XML, and HTML report creation if you choose.
