What Does BRB Mean?

The internet is full of acronyms, and BRB is one you might come across in conversations with friends, fellow gamers, family, or colleagues.
BRB means "Be Right Back"
BRB is most commonly used in live chat conversations where you indicate that you are stepping away briefly. You might be going to get a cup of coffee or going to the bathroom. It's not worth explaining what you're doing; type in BRB when you expect to be back shortly.
You might also use AFK to indicate you stepped away from the keyboard.
Before the internet, BRB referred to Big Red Button, a fictional button that could launch an all-out nuclear catastrophe during the Cold War. After that, Big Red Button could refer to any button that starts self-destruction.
Except for Staples. They had to go with the "That Was Easy" red button campaign.
While BRB can have other meanings, you can expect that it means "Be Right Back."
