How to Disable Steam Popups & Notifications
By Timothy Tibbetts |
Steam, by default, allows popup notifications about games, new and upcoming releases. One of the most annoying Steam popups appears every time you launch Steam, notifying you about new deals on games that rarely interest you. Let's turn that annoying Steam popup off.
Luckily, disabling Steam popups is easy to do.
Launch Steam (and close that annoying popup window for the last time).
Click View on the top-right menu, and click on Settings.
Click Interface on the left.
Scroll down and check the box next to Notify me about additions or changes to my games, new releases, and upcoming releases.
That's it—no more popups in Steam.
