How to Disable Google Chrome Search Suggestions
By Timothy Tibbetts |
Google Chrome will make suggestions as you type, showing suggestions based on websites that you may have visited or attempting to guess at what you're looking for. If you don't like this feature, it's easy to disable.
Click the hamburger icon (three dots in the top-right corner) and click on Settings.
Click on Sync and Google services.
You can also type in chrome://settings/syncSetup in the search bar and press Enter.
Under Other Google services look for Autocomplete Searches and URLs.
Check this on or off for what you want to do.
