Hiding the Recycle Bin is possible on Windows 11, 10, and 7. It can be especially useful to avoid someone accidentally emptying the Recycle Bin.
Each operating system is slightly different but similar.
Regardless of your operating system, right-click on your Desktop and click Personalize or Personalization.
Follow the directions below for your operating system:

Click on Desktop Icon Settings.
A new window will pop up.
Uncheck Recycle Bin.
Click on OK.
