How to Print a Printer Test Page in Windows
By Timothy Tibbetts |
At some point, many of us need to print a test page from our printer to diagnose printer issues. You can print a test page in Windows, online, or with a third-party app.
1: Print a Test Page in Printers & Scanners
Click Start > Settings > devices > Printers & scanners.
Find and click on your printer.
Click on Manage.
Click on Print a test page.
If you run into any problems, click on Run the troubleshooter.
Note: Many printers come with proprietary software. Each software application is different, but you can usually find the option to print a test page in options or troubleshooting.
2: Print a Test Page Online
If you're having difficulty with your Windows printer settings, you can try online tools:
PrinterTestPage
PrinterATestPage
3: Print a Test Page With Third-Party Apps
We saved using a third-party app for last because the other options should work, and there's rarely a need to download a program separately.
If we had to choose, we'd use Print.Test.Page.OK.
Print.Test.Page.OK is a test page printing tool that allows you to test your printer for errors and efficiency.
Print.Test.Page.OK is equipped with two test pages and color gradients, allowing you to test the printer colors at any time, regardless if it is a color laser printer or a modern inkjet printer. You can quickly start the test page printout via the Print button.
