The Recycle Bin is probably one thing in Windows 10 that everyone likes and thinks little about. You can do a few things to improve the Recycle Bin, including permanently deleting files instead of using the Recycle Bin. Here's how.

Video tutorial:

Right-click on the Recycle Bin and click Properties. Did you know you can remove Properties from the Recycle Bin context menu?

Select the drive you want if you have multiple drives.

Check the box next to Don't move files to the Recycle Bin. Remove files immediately when deleted.

As you can see, that was easy to do, allowing you to do it temporarily or change back and forth as needed.

If you occasionally want to bypass the Recycle Bin, use Shift + Delete.
