TMI is an acronym you may come across almost anywhere, including text messages, social media, online forums, and even in person.
TMI means Too Much Information.
Ironically, TMI should really be TMPI, but here we are. TMI is a way to let someone know they shared too much personal information. You would say TMI exactly as you type it by reading each letter out one at a time; T-M-I.
