was to install the freeware CopyTrans HEIC for Windows tested clean by MajorGeeks. CopyTrans HEIC for Windows is a useful tool that allows the opening and viewing of HEIC images and converting them to JPG.
There's no interface; double-click any HEIC image, and you will be asked which app to open it with. Simple! If you have a HEIF file, rename the file extension to HEIC.
Need to convert HEIF to JPEG? No problem, right-click on any image and click on Convert to JPEG with CopyTrans.
