Once you are inside the maze-like fortress, you will encounter numerous traps, monsters, equipment, and hidden doors. All these found pieces of equipment will help enhance your prowess and your power to defend yourself.

Angband gameplay emphasizes combat and careful resource management, you have health points, and death is final. If you successfully best Morgoth on the 100th floor, the game will continue, allowing you to descend to further floors. All the Angband levels are procedurally generated, ensuring that you enjoy a unique game every time you play.
