Avast Decryption Tool for NoobCrypt decrypts files being held ransom by the NoobCrypt ransomware; this particular strain has been in circulation since July 2016. All the Avast Decryption Tools are available in one zip here.
It uses AES 256 military-grade encryption methods for locking your files. NoobCrypt doesn't appear to change file names, but files that have been encrypted are unable to be opened with their associated applications. After your files have been encrypted, you will receive a message located in a file titled "ransomed.html" on your desktop. The ransomware note(s) will look similar to the examples shown in the screenshots below.
