BluetoothView is designed as a small tool that runs in the background and monitors the activity of nearby Bluetooth devices.

It displays the following information for each detected Bluetooth device: Device Name, Bluetooth Address, Major Device Type, Minor Device Type, First Detection Time, Last Detection Time, and more. BluetoothView can also notify you when a new device is detected by displaying a balloon in your taskbar or playing a beep sound.

BluetoothView includes a feature allowing users to connect with any of the detected devices. Additionally, it provides an Options menu that enables you to customize the update rate and open window behavior and choose whether to enable audio alerts for new devices or to receive alerts exclusively for devices with a description.

BluetoothView is designed to run smoothly on a wide range of hardware setups and is compatible with all versions of Windows. This means that even Windows 7 users without administrator privileges should be able to launch the application without any difficulties.
