Empty Recycle Bin Shortcut contains a shortcut to empty the Recycle Bin from the Desktop in one step. You can also use this shortcut as a batch file to empty the Recycle Bin when you shut down your computer.

Download 'Empty Recycle Bin Shortcut.'

Extract Empty Recycle Bin.lnk from the zip file and copy and paste it to your Desktop.

Double-click the shortcut to empty the Recycle Bin.

To empty automatically when you shut down, see this tutorial after you have created the shortcut. You will need to rename the file name extension to .bat.
