How to Disable the Taskbar Context Menu in Windows 10 & 11

When you right-click on your Taskbar, a context menu appears with access to many Taskbar related settings. If you like, you can disable the Taskbar Context Menu.

How to Disable Taskbar Context Menu in Windows 10 - Registry Files
Download Disable Taskbar Context Menu in Windows 10 and extract the two files.
Double-click 'Taskbar Context Menu - Disable.reg' or 'Taskbar Context Menu - Ensable.reg' (Default).
Click Yes when prompted by User Account Control.
Click Yes when prompted by Registry Editor.
Click OK when prompted by the Registry Editor.

How to Disable Taskbar Context Menu in Windows 10 - Group Policy Editor
Open Group Policy Editor.
Go to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Start Menu and Taskbar.
Double-click Remove access to the context menus for the taskbar.
Click Enabled. Reboot.
How to Disable Taskbar Context Menu in Windows 10 - Registry Editorr
Open Registry Editor.
There are two changes to make:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]
"NoTrayContextMenu"=dword:00000001
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]
"NoTrayContextMenu"=dword:00000001
Delete NoTrayContextMenu in both places to restore the Taskbar cotext menu.
Reboot.
