How to Update Your Intel Wireless Wi-Fi Drivers

The Intel PROSet/Wireless WiFi Software are the latest drivers for most Intel wireless cards, including Centrino, Dual Band, Tri-Band, and more. These drivers don't have an installer, but they are easy to install by following this guide and video.
By updating to the latest Intel Wi-Fi software, you can improve your internet and networking speeds. The drivers from Intel historically are stable and reliable.
Download the latest Intel PROSet/Wireless WiFi Software at https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/intel_proset.html. Watch our video below or follow along with the rest of this guide.
Extract the files into a folder wherever you downloaded the zip file, most likely your download folder.
Being typing Device Manager in search (Windows Key + S) and click on Device Manager.
Under Networking, double-click on your Intel wireless network card.
Click on the Driver tab.
Click on Update Driver.
Click on Browse my computer for driver software.
Browse to, and select your folder and click Next. Your drivers will now be updated.
