Blender Benchmark is a multiplatform tool for running CPU/GPU benchmark tests against specific Blender product versions.
In turn, the data supplied by running these tests is then shared with the Blender community (Blender Open Data) to improve and support the development of Blender products.
You can then select any number of the included seven benchmarks to run on your choice of Blender version and render device (CPU/GPU). The benchmark will also gather non-identifiable data on your system setup. Once the benchmark is complete, you can share your results on Blender Open Data publicly.
Using this benchmark is to compare performance variations in software and hardware to support the Blender development process.
