Most of us use the Windows Start Menu every day and noticed we have a ton of apps. Have you ever wondered just how many apps and pinned items you have? Here's how.

We're going to use Powershell. If you've never used PowerShell before, this is a simple, safe tip to try.

Open PowerShell.

Type in Get-StartApps | measure and press Enter.

Look for Count to see the number of items in your Start Menu.



That's it! Windows 10 does have a limit of 2048 items, so if you show 2048, you probably have more (rare).
